This silly guy to the right is our boy, Nanook.  If you have not noticed he is a dog.  Our interest in N-R-G dog food was all his fault.  As a pup he was one picky eater, we tried all brands of store bought food (otherwise known as kibble) but he just would not eat.  We than heard about the RAW or BARF diets for dogs. 

For those who do not know, this is feeding dogs a raw meat and vegetables mixture.  This is supposed to be better for them since they are close relatives of wolves and this is what wolves would eat in the wild etc..  You get the idea. 

Well, this was working fine, except we were not happy about having to stock all this frozen raw meats in the house.  We had to go out and by a separate freezer chest just for dog food.  This was also an extra household expense.  Then when our son was born, this became an even bigger issue.  We did not want to have raw meat around the house with an infant or our dog to eat raw food than lick our son.  That is when we came across N-R-G dog food.

This food has all the benefits of RAW diet except it is not raw.  I have never seen my dog eat his food so fast.  As soon as we put his bowl down he went to town.  He was energetic, healthy and looked great.  Even our veterinarian was amazed at how good he looked.

Years later I noticed my wife and I "selling" our friends and family on this brand of dog food and have not had anyone complain about it.  Yes it is a bit more expensive than the "food" you can buy at the grocery store, but it is real food.  People pay a lot of money for frozen RAW diet foods.  I was one of them. 

Every pound of N-R-G dog food in its dehydrated form is equivalent to four(4) pounds of frozen food.  If you do the math this is actually cheaper (and safer) than RAW diets.  (Feel free to follow the links to the manufacturer's website for all the information you need on this amazing dog food.)

You can eat cheap off of the dollar menus at fast food restaurants, but are you going to be healthy?  Well the same goes for your dog. 
NRG dog food is a more expensive food since we do not cost compete by using cheaper ingredients.  This is against our whole ideology.  Since NRG dog food has so much more nutritional value and is a complete all life stages diet you end up feeding less to your dog.  You also do not need to give extra vitamins, minerals or supplements.  Your dog will also be healthier and require less trips to the vet.
